My mom went and visited with the oncologist on Tuesday and learned all about chemo. She got to talk to the doctor, to the nurse, and watch movies all about chemo. What a fun day. As for my mom's chemo, she will be starting chemo on Thursday and will go in every 3 weeks. Her first treatment is 8 hours long! My siblings and I will try to rotate and keep her company, but if she's anything like my sister D during chemo, then she'll just sleep the whole time and not even know how much time has past. Hopefully, that is what happens for her, because otherwise it's going to be very boring.
Keep praying for my mom that everything goes well and that the chemo is effective.
P.S. This picture is of my crazy nephews. They like grandma cause she's crazy!

Please keep us informed of anything she might need during chemo (books, magazines, ipod with music, books, etc) If she does stay awake, we'll want to put together some things for her.
