2nd Round of Chemo (10/28)

My mom had her second round of chemo on Thursday (10/23) and had a much better time than last time. She got a miracle pill that controlled her nausea, so instead of throwing up round the clock for 2 days and then every once in a while for the next week, she hasn't thrown up at all. She is still really tired, but says that she is just so relieved to not be throwing up.

We tried to make the weekend as fun as possible. My sister D flew in and went right to work on being the favorite aunt. We had a fun Halloween party for all the cousins that were here (there were a lot because my sister S and her kids were in town). We had silly string wars, stuffed marshmallows in our faces, bobbed for apples, sucked up M&Ms, and had donuts and apple juice. The kids had a blast and the adults looked like they were having a lot of fun too. I'll put up some pictures as soon as I get them off my camera.

Also, the BYU Cougars won! So, all in all it wasn't too bad of a weekend.
